Many organisations have provided a guideline to staff of 2/3 days per week in the office. This of course is a natural starting point that sufficiently recognizes the desire of many for more flexibility.
However to maximise the commercial opportunity and increase culture and organisational benefits, engagement and analysis with a focus on people and working requirements should be the priority.
Outcomes will include
- considerable reduction to the overall quantity of space required
- maximised commercial benefits (typically through greater ongoing cost savings and increased leasing opportunities)
- office layouts that are flexible and future proof
- a solid foundation on which organisational and culture change is based
