Over two opening phases we decreased the council’s storage by 50% and comprehensively reduced the overall space required to operate. Through our roll out of flexible working and hot-desking policies we were able to vacate two central Islington sites holding 1350 employees and incorporate 360 additional staff into existing office space.
Our delivery included project managing refurbishments, multiple office moves, co-locating teams and services within specific buildings and through careful and complex planning we enabled the transition to a restructured workforce under a new People, Place and Resource operational model.
