LBB were working from various sites including schools and smaller council buildings and our main objective over the course of 2 years was to substantially reduce the council’s estate and building occupancy.

​We project managed the full refurbishment at the newly created central 180,000 sqft space at the North London Business Park and successfully managed the programme to relocate all 3500 LBB employees into this new open plan space.

We created a comprehensive programme focussed on the people, consisting of change management and internal communications and this ensured all staff were engaged and involved throughout the journey.

Technology was updated, a new culture and staff mindset was created and flexible working was rolled out across the council.

There were additional and comprehensive financial benefits as a result of the project. Running costs were hugely reduced by operating in a reduced footprint, LBB were also able to utilise the large quantity of vacated and freed up space at a number of council sites (including Barnet House in Whetstone) to achieve additional external rental income.
